Abstract

This research aims to develop a Planning miniature color-based sorting system on a conveyor using an Arduino Uno-based robotic arm. The innovation and advancement of technology are rapidly evolving in various fields, including robotics. Robot arms or manipulators are used to manipulate movements, lift, move, and handle workpieces to alleviate human labor. In the sorting and transportation of goods, visual factors have limitations such as color blindness and fatigue, which can affect the production process. Based on observations at TF STT Texmaco Subang in collaboration with PT. Piranti Indonesia, this research proposes the development of a robot that utilizes servos and a TCS3200 color sensor. The robot is controlled by an Arduino Uno microcontroller, making it more economical and reducing human errors. The results of the study show that the developed system can sort items based on red, green, and blue colors with high accuracy. Moreover, this system can be easily integrated into production lines to enhance efficiency. Thus, this research contributes to industrial automation and robotic technology
