Pengaruh Penggunaan HHO Generator Tipe Wet Cell Pada Sepeda Motor 110 cc Sistem PGM-FI Terhadap Daya, Torsi Dan Efisiensi Bahan Bakar

The rapid growth of the automotive industry that drives increased global mobility has contributed greatly to the use of fossil fuels and greenhouse gas emissions. HHO generator technology has attracted attention as a potential solution in improving combustion efficiency in internal combustion engines. This study aims to assess the effect of using an HHO generator on the performance of a 110 cc injection motorcycle engine and also analyze the difference in fuel use efficiency between motorcycles that use an HHO generator and do not use an HHO generator. The research was conducted using an experimental method with three test variables, namely testing of power, torque and fuel consumption. The data were analyzed quantitatively to compare the condition of the engine before and after the HHO generator was installed. The results showed that the power generated before the installation of the HHO generator was 8.35 HP at 9000 rpm and after the use of the HHO generator the power generated was 8.45 HP at 9000 rpm. In this case there is an average increase of 3.46%. The torque produced before the use of the HHO generator was 6.65 Nm at 6500 rpm while the torque produced after the use of the HHO generator was 7.59 Nm at 5500 rpm. This has increased the average torque by 8.66%. The results of fuel consumption testing using 250 ml of fuel with an average speed of 60 km / h in conditions before the installation of the HHO generator reached 14.2 km and after the installation of the HHO generator the mileage reached 15.6 km, this shows that the use of HHO generators has increased mileage by 6.02% compared to standard conditions.
