Peningkatan Nilai Sigma Pada Produk Wallmart Dibagian Proses Sewing Line 23 Dengan Menggunakan Pendekatan DMAIC Untuk Mengurangi Defect Di PT.YWI

Abstract

In the production process, the things that are often discussed are quality and productivity. Where quality and productivity affect each other when a company produces quality goods with a low level of defective products, productivity can  defects were identified in the production process, namely broken stitch defects, tension defects, puckering defects. ,defect hole (hit by scissors). The purpose of this study is to reduce defects in the production process on Wallmart products and implement them in the company. The method used uses the DMAIC concept to find out the factors that cause problems using SIPOC diagrams, Pareto diagrams, fishbone diagrams, why and why, FMEA and at the stage of problem solving plans improvements are made to problems that have been described using 5W + 1H and repair schedule. the final stage is the control stage .in the sewing process have decreased because in the March period it reached 0.34% and in the April period it became 0.17%.
