Abstract

One of the innovations in technological development is the use of webcams, nowadays webcams are widely used in industry, ranging from quality control, security systems and sorting systems, besides that it can also be developed as a sensor in detecting an object through several stages of image processing. image processing application with webcam input is used for object sorting system based on shape and color pattern. This study uses 2 image processing methods, namely the HSV (Hue, Saturation, & Value) color filtering method used to detect the color of objects and Shape detection is used to detect shape patterns. sorting an object in the form of patterns of shapes and colors automatically by utilizing image processing from a webcam controlled using a raspberry pi aims to make the object sorting process more accurate and efficient.
