Abstract

Technological advances have changed many aspects of human life, such as the emergence of information systems based on internet technology. While information technology must provide precise and accurate information in various fields, the information must be processed before it can be used. There are various kinds of tourist attractions such as waterfalls, nature, art, animal husbandry, and history. Rapid technological advancements, including the Internet, have ushered in an era where manual information management must now be replaced by technical information management. In this study, information was collected using observation methods when processing tourism-related data at the Banyumas Tourism and Culture Office. Based on the results of the implementation, the Banyumas Regency Tourism and Culture Office uses a tourist information system that can be accessed via the Internet. A waterfall methodology is used that includes analysis, design, programming, testing, and maintenance. The Tourist Information System helps visitors and tourists find information about tourism. A tourist information system that makes it easy for you to book and buy tickets online.
