Abstract

At the company PT. Piranti Teknik Indonesia is a private manufacturing company in Indonesia which is part of the Banshu group company which operates under PT. Banshu Electric Indonesia especially in the production of wiring harnesses for vehicles with a strong working method with improvements carried out continuously and maintained by improving working methods using the MOST (Maynard Operation Sequence Time) method. MOST (Maynard Operation Sequence Time). is a method of measuring standard time and standard work output. Data taken from a movement element is given parameters according to the movements that correspond. 4 main factors (operator, material, machine, method) and work method improvement using the MOST (Maynard Operation Sequence Time) method.The aim of this research is to find out whether there is a difference in the standard time results indirectly from the observation section with the previous method. And the Maynard Operation Sequence Time measurement results using the previous method are the standard time of 73.96 seconds/operator and the production output is 500 per day and the method has been improved with the most method, namely to 22.72/operator and the production output is 1,440 units per day. So the most method is better than the old method, This measurement is due to the division of work movements of one unit in the TMU of each method.
