Penurunan Defect Pada Wirring Harness Assy 32100-K2V-N410 Dengan Metode PDCA di PT. Piranti Teknik Indonesia

The focus of this research is to improve the dominant type of defect, namely defects due to perforated filters. After that look for the factors that cause these defects using a Fishbone diagram. The next step is the Do stage, namely determining goals and objectives in corrective actions and identification of defective products assisted by 5W+1H tools. In the third stage of Check, further examination is carried out using the Failure Mode Effect and Analysis (FMEA). The result is that the highest Risk Priority Number (RPN) value of 324 is found in the work method error because it is not in accordance with the SOP. The recommended action provided is in the form of a proposal to create a special checksheet for product control. The last stage is the Action stage, at this stage quality control is carried out in the form of providing suggestions in the form of monitoring and measuring employee performance and seeing the level of quality of a product by using a check sheet for inspection process.
