Rancang Bangun Alat Pendeteksi Asap Rokok Untuk Penanggulangan Ketertiban Berbasis Internet Of Thing

You really need to pay attention to the dangers of cigarette smoke in the surrounding area. Cigarette smoke is very dangerous for health because it contains various pollutants which can cause various coughs, cancer and other health problems. There are various ways to minimize the dangers of cigarette smoke, including by making no-smoking stickers/banners and no-smoking seminars. However, this method is less effective because there are still some people who do not realize the importance of not smoking in public or private places. The aim of this research is to design a cigarette smoke detector in a special toilet using the ESP8266 Node MCU Microcontroller and ESP32 CAM Wi-Fi which will send text and image messages, with the help of the MQ2 sensor as a cigarette smoke detector and the PIR sensor as a smoker's motion detector. The output is to activate the ESP32 CAM Wi-Fi function which will then take a picture of the smoker. From the test results, the tool can detect cigarette smoke at a threshold of 400 ppm and provide information in the form of text and images via Telegram software.
