Abstract

Security doors are an important aspect of a home or building security system. In this study, we present the use of Arduino Uno R3 as a control platform for security doors equipped with MFRC522 sensors, infrared proximity sensors, and LN298N drivers. The MFRC522 sensor is used to implement an RFID card based security system. In addition, the infrared proximity sensor is also used to detect the presence of a user near the door. To drive the door mechanism, the LN298N driver is used. This driver controls the motor that drives the door opening system. Through this research, we succeeded in developing an effective security door system using Arduino Uno R3, MFRC522 sensor, infrared proximity sensor, and LN298N driver. This system is able to detect RFID cards, detect user movements, and move doors accurately. This system can be used in a variety of security applications, including in homes, offices, or areas that require strict access controls.
