Abstract

Microcontroller technology is a computer control technology that can be applied to everyday life. Microcontroller technology that has been packaged into an Arduino module is an example of digital technology that is simply made to implement the commands desired by the programmer by conditioning an event or specifying input by the programmer and then the input is processed by Arduino to become the output expected by the programmer. This journal discusses the modification of the interrupt button and emergency button based on the Arduino Mega 2560 microcontroller to reduce the level of damage, negligence of man power and handling emergencies when there are problems in the production process, counters and automatic timers use interrupt buttons which function as buttons that stop the conveyor. , turning on the indicator light and emergency button as a sign of a problem occurring during the production process. Using the Arduino Mega 2560 which functions as the control center for processing input data from the interrupt button to output in the form of a 16x2 Graphic LCD, conveyor, buzzer, and lights. Using a 16x2 Graphic LCD which functions to display the results of calculating the number of counters. And the last is Using an emergency button which functions as a button to stop the conveyor when there is a problem during the process. Removing processing results by Arduino which are forwarded to In designing this modification of the interrupt button and emergency button, an experiment was carried out using a miniature automatic conveyor with the results functioning properly.
