Aplikasi Berbasis Web Pengelolaan Sistem Informasi Ma’had Ar-Risalah Al-Atsari

Ma'had Ar-Risalah Al-Atsari is a prominent formal educational institution located in Karawang Regency. The administrative processes and new student registration (PPDB) across all education levels were previously conducted through conventional paper-based methods, leading to administrative bottlenecks in handling applicant records, physical archive retrieval delays, and restricted public access to school information. Furthermore, academic file exchange among teachers heavily relied on physical USB flash drives, posing high risks of data corruption and malware transmission. To mitigate these issues, an independent web-based school information system was developed. The development methodology employed Extreme Programming (XP) with an object-oriented modeling approach using the Unified Modelling Language (UML). The application was implemented using PHP programming language with the Laravel framework, HTML, CSS, and MySQL Database Management System. The outcome of this research is an integrated web platform that streamlines online student registration, improves PPDB administrative efficiency, publishes school information transparently, optimizes teacher academic file management, and enables parents to access real-time digital report cards securely.
