Perancangan Sistem Penjualan Dengan Metode Rapid Application Development (RAD)

The rapid growth of information technology encourages Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to adopt digital systems to improve operational efficiency and data accuracy. Nayla Frozen Food is an MSME that still manages transactions and inventory manually, which may lead to recording errors, delayed reports, and difficulties in monitoring sales data. This study aims to design and develop a web-based sales system using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method. RAD was chosen because it enables rapid system development through iterative stages with active user involvement. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The result is a web-based sales system capable of managing products, transactions, inventory, and financial reports in an integrated manner. System testing using Black Box Testing showed a success rate of 95%, indicating that the system is feasible for implementation. The system is expected to improve operational effectiveness and support better business decision-making.
