Usulan Perbaikan Postur Kerja Pada Proses Produksi Packing Menggunakan Metode REBA (Rappid Entire Body Assesment)

Work posture refers to the position of the body while performing work activities, which is closely related to the design of the work area. Various conditions of non-ergonomic workstations can lead to unnatural working postures such as squatting, slouching, and others. Therefore, improvement proposals must be made to minimize worker complaints. The Nordic Body Map (NBM) is used to identify areas of the body experiencing discomfort, while the Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) method is applied to determine the risk level and necessary actions related to injury-causing complaints. The study results showed a REBA score of 9, indicating a high level of risk and the need for immediate corrective action. After implementing a proposed improvement to the packing operator’s working posture using CATIA software, the REBA score was reduced to 4, indicating a medium risk level, where corrective action may be needed. This study aims to apply proposed improvements to workers' body postures to prevent Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) and to ensure that work productivity is not affected.Top of FormBottom of Form
