Abstract

The operator of the Fuse box section of PT. Indonesian engineering devices often complain of pain due to poor working posture and repetitive movements. to find out how dangerous the working posture is. Data were collected through direct observation, interviews, filling out the Nordic Body Map questionnaire, and photo documentation from the rapid posture analysis method. The NBM results show that operators have individual scores with high risk levels, namely 71, 74, and 75, which require improvement. Meanwhile, the initial RULA analysis showed that the first activity scored 6 and 7 for the other two activities with a very high risk level, indicating that there is a very high risk that requires change. to reduce MSDs' cedara then work posture. redesigned using CATIA V5R20 software. This new working posture indicates a more ergonomic working posture and adjustable lifting loads. After the improvements were made, the RULA score dropped to 4, 3, and 2 with medium risk and low risk levels, indicating a large improvement in ergonomics.
