Abstrak

Penelitian ini dilakukan karena dalam pengoperasian permesinan CNC sangat penting memperhatikan hubungan antara material yang digunakan, daya Spindel dan cutting parameter yang digunakan yang mempengaruhi kualitas, efisiensi pengerjaan dan lifetime dari pada Spindel. Hasil dari penelitian ini selanjutnya akan digunakan sebagai salah satu acuan dasar dalam rancang bangun mesin CNC desktop. Pada penelitian ini parameter yang digunakan sebagai pembanding hasil yaitu Perhitungan Manual dan FEA yang mencakup Von-Mises stress, Displacement, Safety factor. Hasil Defleksi material aluminium 6061. Dari penelitian diambil dengan beberapa gaya potong dan cutting parameter. Diambil sampel terbesar dari Gaya potong sebesar Ft = 150.04 N pada poros motor Spindel berdaya 0.8kW, 1.2kW, 2.2kW. Defleksi tersebut diambil dengan Ap = 2mm dan f = 0.05mm/gigi. Dari perhitungan defleksi ditemukan bahwa Cutting Force yang dihasilkan dari Cutting parameter yang digunakan juga tidak semua bisa digunakan di 3(tiga) sampel Spindel terdapat batasannya yakni dari Depth of Cut atau Ap 0.5mm, 1mm, 2mm serta Wide of Cut atau Ae 0.01mm, 0.02mm, 0.05mm.
